Tile & Stone Flooring
Explore a wide variety of tile and stone flooring with expert guidance and professional installation.

Tile & Stone Overview
Not only is tile gorgeous, but it’s also very practical. Tile is basically an inert surface of fired (baked) clay, metal, or stone. It’s easy to keep clean and tends to retard the growth of fungus, mold, and mildew. Whatever you choose, it’s an architectural statement that will last for years.
A few things to consider when choosing Tile & Stone:
What color? Do you want a pattern or bold graphics? What finish? Is a beveled or straight edge best? Will it be a focal point or a backdrop?
How Do You Choose?

Ceramic tiles
Made from clay fired in a kiln. Glazed ceramic offers better stain and moisture resistance and comes in matte, semi-gloss, or high-gloss finishes. Un-glazed ceramics are highly slip-resistant but must be sealed to prevent staining.

Porcelain Tile
A form of ceramic fired at higher temperatures, porcelain is non-porous, scratch-resistant, and can withstand extreme temperatures. Because the color goes all the way through the tile, it is an excellent choice for both indoors and outdoors.

Granite Tile
Formed from magma, granite is the hardest stone floor available—nearly as hard as a diamond. It is moisture and scratch-resistant, making it a premier choice for kitchens, walls, and counters.

Marble Tile
Marble adds sophisticated luxury to any space. Because it is more porous than granite, it is more susceptible to scratching and moisture, requiring below-surface sealants and finishing treatments to maintain its beauty.

Glass Tile
The way glass tiles shimmer and change in the light provides a sleek, radiant, and “spa-like” finish to a room. It is often used to create a modern architectural statement.

Mosaic Tile
Mosaics can include combinations of stone, metal, glass, ceramic, and porcelain. Think of mosaic tile as the “cherry on the sundae”—the perfect finishing decorative touch for your design project.
